Chapter 3: Clinical Questioning
Suggested Time Frame: 20 minutes
The goal of this chapter is to examine clinical questioning as a method to enhance and improve the preceptor’s ability to foster the preceptee’s acquisition of the knowledge, skills and attitudes related to evidence-based practice and informatics/technology in the clinical setting.
At the completion of this chapter, the participant will:
1. Define clinical questioning
2. Identify methods to enhance the use of clinical questioning when working with preceptees.
